Deptford Creek has been home to a residential boating community for over 30 years.
Over the last few decades various families have found themselves in an unlikely flotilla, forming a unique collective of adjacent homes - with Luna being a beating heart of chosen family that many lives orbit. Lunas long history of housing people from all walks of life has settled into being a queer safes pace and empowering environment for people to learn marine trades.

Luna Houseboat Coop is committed to building a socially conscious, sustainable community able to safeguard and champion both the ecosystem of the Creek and the longstanding community-based lifestyle we represent - both on the local level and as part of a wider network of communities striving towards sustainable lifestyles accessible to all.
The yard that surrounds our community is currently undergoing redevelopment. We are a cooperative organisation seeking to bring our houseboat - Luna - into cooperative ownership in order to preserve her residential status in the long term and to provide an introduction to our tight-knit boating community.
